Business Support

The WECP acts as a forum to facilitate trade development and provide information resources to businesses in the member cities. The partnership is particularly keen to assist smal-l and medium-sized enterprises.

The WECP also works with the member cities to encourage developments of key economic drivers of the energy industry, such as health and safety standards, skills and training, and city infrastructure.

Encouraging Trade Development

In addition to city collaboration, the WECP provides a worldwide network of energy industry expertise, specialist resources and support services. Through these resources, the partnership facilitates trade development opportunities for local businesses. Trade missions often are incorporated into working meeting visits, which coincide with trade shows. Details of meetings and visits are available within the Updates section of the Web site.

Prospects therefore exist around the world for member cities, and for the businesses within those cities, to capitalize on economic and business development opportunities.

For further information on trade development assistance, please contact the Secretariat or the city with which you are linked.
